"Behind every young athlete is a parent who believes in them and their dreams."
I’m a storyteller by trade and a devoted mom above all else. Supporting Roselyn’s journey, academically, athletically, and personally, has always been my highest priority. Helping her follow her dreams and nurturing her growth has been at the heart of everything I do. As she’s taken on the challenges of being a competitive student-athlete, my focus has been on helping her stay balanced and prepared, creating the structure and support she needs to reach her goals. I believe in showing up fully, not just for the spotlight moments but for the daily routines, preparation, and perseverance that build confidence, character, and lasting success.
Between school projects, leadership commitments, and a packed practice schedule, my job is to make sure the essentials are handled: planning, communication, and quiet encouragement. I’m focused on building systems that protect Roselyn’s academics and wellbeing while allowing her to pursue the sports/extracurriculars she loves.
We prioritize giving back, supporting causes that matter through: race participation, team fundraisers, and local volunteer efforts. Whether it’s raising awareness for health issues, supporting animal rescues, or honoring veterans, we try to use our platform and time to make a positive difference. Showing Roselyn that athletics can be a vehicle for service is an important lesson I’m proud to share.
Education has always been the foundation of our family’s priorities. I’m intentional about creating an environment where homework, reading, and personal growth aren’t squeezed in around sports, but supported as an equal priority. To me, raising a student-athlete means raising a lifelong learner, and that starts at home with the values we set every day.
Everything I do comes back to leading with heart, teaching Roselyn that her character matters more than medals, that kindness and respect travel farther than any trophy. How we show up for others says more about us than any title ever could. She's not just an athlete, but a teammate, friend, and future leader who understands the impact she can have on those around her.
